Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they
do for this organization.
Allow me to introduce Kim Lambert, a registration specialist at Campbell
County Medical Group
Cardiology—she is also a certified medical biller. Kim is relatively new to
Campbell County Health, celebrating a year a little while ago; however,
the Cardiology Clinic is also new to our organization—celebrating
two years in February. If you don't know, Cardiology is a specialty
that deals with disorders of the heart. As a registration specialist,
she schedules appointments, helps gather information from patients to
register for their doctor's appointment, and enters that information
into their electronic medical record. We asked Kim what inspired her to
work in healthcare, and what she likes most about working in Cardiology.
Check out her response:
"I began my career in the health care industry more so on the back
end—first in filing, then registration and then medical billing
and coding. It has always been rewarding to me to help people out—I
enjoy making someone's day better!
Working here gives me the opportunity to change someone's day. Some
patients come in for simple maintenance of their blood pressure and others
come in needing critical care—we help them transform from ill to
well again. I love seeing that transition. This community is blessed to
have cardiac care provided by two excellent Cardiologists."
Thank you, Kim, for helping us care for our patients in Cardiology. You
are an important part of our team, and we are proud to have you here.
