Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they
do for this organization.
Allow us to introduce Maria Carroll, a childcare tech at the CCH
Early Childhood Center, which provides quality childcare for children of CCH employees during
their working hours. Maria has earned her
Child Development Associate (CDA), which is the most widely recognized credential in early childhood
education. According to her colleagues, Maria has a wonderful sense of
humor and spends a lot of time cooking for her coworkers—they love
her breakfasts and homemade salsa. She’s a high-energy person who
loves to spend her downtime styling baby girl’s hair or cleaning
the room she is in. She has worked for CCH for 12 years.
Maria was inspired to work at the Early Childhood center because she loves
children, especially babies. In fact, there are many CCH employees who
have asked Maria to look after their children outside of her time at CCH.
When she is not at home, she loves spending time with her two dogs.
We asked Maria what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence
every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I work with some wonderful people, and I love that I get to come
to work every day and be with children—especially babies.
I feel wonderful knowing that the parents trust me with their children.
Because they are confident in my skills and training, I know that they
can go to work and do their jobs effectively, and know that their child
is being taken care of.
Excellence every day is simple to me: it means that I provide the best
quality for both the children and parents.”
Maria, we love your energy and enthusiasm you bring to your job. We are
proud to have you on our team!
