Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they
do for this organization.
Say hello to Mary Lou Gladson, who works as a Patient Accounts and Medical
Records Representative at
The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. She’s been with CCH for two and a half years. Mary Lou graduated
from Rock Springs High School, and then went on to earn her associates from
Casper College in Ag and Communications. She has also continued some education here at
Gillette College.
Mary Lou was inspired to work in health care because she has “witnessed
the increase of the needs of the elderly in the community and said she
wanted to utilize her training to help The Legacy residents with their
needs, as well as get the chance to know some of these special community
members.”
She also says that she’s surrounded by heroes, all day. “I
see my coworkers spending their days taking care of the residents, and
I appreciate the time and care they provide. Their compassion and kindness
exemplify the true meaning of heroes and they deserve the recognition
in my book,” she says.
When Mary Lou is not working, she loves the outdoors and spending quality
time with her family (she has three beautiful children) as well as being
a ranch girl who loves cleaning after and visiting with the cattle, sheep
and horses her family own.
We asked Mary Lou what she likes most about working at CCH, as well as
what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I get a kick out of the days when I can visit with our residents
or family members, and get a smile from them. I truly love what I do.
There is always something new to be learned. And, the opportunity to visit
with our new admissions and their families when they arrive is priceless.
Excellence every day is a daily goal for me. I hope to treat our residents,
family members and guests like they are family. I always ask if there
is anything else that I can do for them. I believe that a small smile
goes a long way in making the difference for many of the people I visit
with. This is how I want to be treated!”
Thank you, Mary Lou for all that you do for the residents at The Legacy.
We appreciate you.
