Sunday, September 8-Saturday, September 14, the
Campbell County Suicide Prevention Coalition is asking the Campbell County, Wyoming community to learn more about suicide
prevention and the
warning signs of suicide during
National Suicide Prevention Week.
For those who don't know, September is National Suicide Prevention
Awareness Month—a time to share resources and stories to shed light
on this stigmatized topic.
Below is a list of activities for you to participate in throughout the

Ice Cream donations: Grab an Ice Cream from Ice Cream Café, or Ice Cream Land and leave
a donation to support local suicide prevention efforts.

Positive Post Its: Stop by businesses, write a positive note, or just read all the positivity
in our community.

Boxelder Road: Cookie tasting will begin at 2 pm. No fee to come by and
taste the cookies. Anyone interested in having a booth and making cookies,

Talking about Suicide: a Night with Craig Miller, 5:30-7:30 pm, Gillette College Presentation Hall, 300 West Sinclair in
Gillette: Author, speaker and survivor Craig Miller will share how he
found purpose in his pain, and how the lessons from his life’s greatest
tragedies gave him everything he needed to cope and remain resilient.

a easy going concert, food, and bonfire!

with and put it in the fire
Friday, September 13
- Shoes on the Court House Lawn: Represents how many people have died by
suicide in Wyoming last year. They are donated shoes not shoes of the
actual individual. We will also have a spot to leave messages of hope
and encourage others to live.
- Vigil at Lasting Legacy Park from 6-8 pm
Saturday, September 14
- Dodge the Stigma Dodgeball, 6 pm, Gillette College Pronghorn Center
