Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Say hello to Amanda Rossiter, CNA II with CCH Home Health and Hospice. Amanda has been with CCH for 10 years—five of those years were spent at
Pioneer Manor long-term care facility, and the rest has been with Home Health and Hospice. Amanda was inspired to work in health care because she loves to be around people—especially the elderly. As a child, she would visit with the residents at the Manor. Amanda has been a CNA since 2003, and this year has decided that she's ready to start another journey in health care and work to become a registered nurse (RN). We asked Amanda what she likes most about working in Home Health and Hospice and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
"What I enjoy most about working in Home Health and Hospice is getting to know the families and loved ones involved with the patients, and helping them with end of life care. I especially enjoy helping them with every day tasks and grooming, as they seem to feel better afterward. The team here works hard to make sure all of our patients die with dignity.
Excellence every day is going that extra mile or step to make sure the patient is satisfied with their care. If they need something at the store, I like going and getting it for them. I just love making and seeing the patients happy."
Thank you Amanda, for your dedication to our hospice and home health patients. We are proud to have you on our team.
