Campbell County Health Rehabilitation Services in Gillette, Wyoming strives
to help you and your family reach your maximum potential through a variety
of programs.
For youth, CCH offers two options:
Excel Athletic Performance Program and the
ICAN Excel Program.
Excel is a comprehensive physical training program designed to improve
overall athletic potential in young athletes between the ages of 10 and
17. The program trains the muscular, cardiovascular, and nervous systems,
and helps improve speed, agility, power, and athletic coordination. In
this program, participants can expect treadmill sprints, agility drills,
hurdle activities, stair running and jumping, weight lifting, and many
more exercises alike. Workouts are demanding and stress multiple systems
of the body. Each training session is an hour in duration and usually
consists of a small group of young athletes.
Younger athletes would more appropriately fit into our ICAN Program. In
this program, kids learn fun activities and how eating foods that are
good for you fuel your body. The primary goals are to increase overall
physical ability and to create healthy lifelong habits for 8-10 year olds.
It is a highly encouraged that non-athletes join the ICAN program; however
the training sessions will be very sports driven and athletic in nature.
Training like an athlete despite the lack of or limited sports participation
is very beneficial to multiple components that make up an individual's
quality of life.
All sessions are held at Rehab Services in the
Stocktrail Building in Gillette, Wyoming—on the corner of Sixth Street and Stocktrail Avenue.
