The
Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center has a few people and organizations it needs to thank.
Recently, the Pioneer Manor Foundation purchased one of two vans used to
take residents to appointments and activities. The Legacy administration
sends a sincere thank you for this purchase, as this helps ensure that
our residents and employees are safe on the road. The other van was purchased
by the Kate Weis Trust, which we wrote about
earlier in the month.
Another blessing comes from Nello Williams. Every week, Nello picks up
fresh flowers donated by
Albertsons and
Smith's, and delivers them to The Legacy for residents to enjoy. This is quite
a lovely gesture by Nello and the grocery stores.
And last, but not least, is a thank you to the
Kate Weis Trust as well as Arlyn and Leah Magnuson for the donation of the gazebos located
in the Cottonwood courtyard and the courtyard off the Great Room at The
Legacy. Arlyn’s company,
Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning, was a sub-contractor during The Legacy’s construction. He and his
wife wanted to contribute to the livelihood of the residents in honor
of his mother, Florence Magnuson, who passed away in her home town.
