Thank you for your service, Mr. Joe Hallock

Feb 06, 2014

As many of you know, Mr. Joe Hallock resigned this week from the CCMH Board of Trustees. As he moves on to pursue new challenges, I want to express my thanks for his service to CCMH and the community.

He was first appointed to the Board from 1999-2000, and then elected in 2004. In 2008 the Board was talking about the feasibility of building a new nursing home and we were on the brink of a $68 million expansion to the hospital. He took a deep personal interest in both these projects, serving on the Facilities committee and taking a personal interest many of the details, from design through bidding and construction. I believe his attention to detail and diligence in shepherding the expansion helped make it the wonderful addition to our hospital that we see today.

We will miss Joe’s expertise and attention to detail, his thoughtful consideration and his questions.

Thank you,

Sara Hartsaw, M.D.
