Thanks for working here Thursday, Chelsey, RN, Pioneer Manor

Sep 02, 2015

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Allow me to introduce Chelsey, RN, the new Administrative Director of Nursing at Pioneer Manor long term care facility. Chelsey has a bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Chadron State College in Nebraska and a Nursing Degree from South Dakota State University. Chelsey and her husband, David, landed in Gillette because he was offered a job at an elementary school—they have two beautiful boys together, Marcus, 5 and Logan, 2.5. She's been with CCH for nearly six years—spending two years at Pioneer Manor, then spending two years with Information Systems as a Clinical Analyst, and then transferred back to Pioneer Manor. We asked Chelsey what she likes most about working at CCH and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

"Initially, I didn't know if I wanted to be in long term care; however, now I can't imagine myself anywhere else. The relationships you build in geriatric and long term care are wonderful—almost indescribable. I'm fortunate that CCH has provided me with more opportunities for advancement than I've ever dreamed of and they are very supportive—I feel like a valued member of the team at Pioneer Manor.

To me, excellence every day is doing the right thing when no one is looking—it's upholding the highest standards of care."

Chelsey, congratulations in your new role at Pioneer Manor. We know that this is a perfect fit for you. Thank you for being a part of our team.
