Jun 08, 2016

Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.

Say hello to Maegan Mahylis, a Registration Specialist at the Campbell County Medical Group Walk-In Clinic in Gillette. Maegan has worked at Campbell County Health for more than two years, and has recently completed CCH's medical assistant (MA) and Phlebotomy courses. Walk-In Clinics provide patients with fast, convenient care for serious but not life threatening illnesses and injuries 365 days a year with no appointment needed. As a registration specialist at the Walk-In Clinic, she helps gather information from patients to register and enters that information into their electronic medical record. We asked Maegan what inspired her to work in health care, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:

"I worked at a bank for three years and didn't feel like there were many opportunities for advancement. I had always wanted to work at a hospital, so when I saw an opening, I applied and was persistent with my application. I have had so many opportunities to further my career within the hospital. Having completed the MA and Phlebotomy courses without any prior medical experience, besides on the job training, means a lot to me to be able to advance myself within the medical field.

Excellence every day means that I'm treating every patient the same, whether they are my first patient of the day, or the last patient I see. I strive to make sure I provide a great experience for every patient every time."

Thank you, Maegan for your dedication to our patients. We appreciate you!
