Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family

Allow us to introduce Tracy Arroyos, Paramedic, ACLS, NRP, PALS, PHTLS,
who has worked at Campbell County Health
Emergency Medical Services for two years. Tracy studied at
Doña Ana Community College in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and initially aspired to become a nurse. “It
was recommended to me that I take an EMT class; so I did, and never got
out of it! I love the patient care, the unknown of the day-to-day operations,
or never knowing who or what you’ll come into contact with when
the EMS bay door goes up,” she says.
Tracy’s career in health care began nearly 14 years ago—she’s
worked in a
clinic, in an
Emergency Department,
home health care,
medical/surgical units and in EMS. “I have worked with some amazing Medics, EMT’s,
doctors and nurses, and I continue to work with some amazing people who
push me to be better every day,” she says.
Tracy isn’t only passionate about being a Paramedic—she’s
a mother of two beautiful children, and a wedding/events photographer.

with her kiddos, and traveling to see family who live outside of Wyoming.
We asked Tracy what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence
every day means to her. Check out her response:
“EMS is a family department—we’ll go to bat for each
other, then give each other a hard time, all in the same day. We always
strive to keep each other going, and putting their best foot forward.
I love that everyone at CCH cares for each other—we don’t
just care for our patients, people here truly care for their co-workers.
It’s such a wonderful atmosphere to work in.
Excellence every day means buying the homeless man a hat (which I’ve
seen happen in Gillette), going out of your way to make sure the patient
can make it back home, or their family member can make it to and from
the hospital. It’s taking that extra step that allows you to help
that one person just a little more than what was needed.”
