Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County, Wyoming community to know about the good work
that they do for this organization.
Allow us to introduce Andrea Harvey, a Clerk in the CCH
Accounting Department. For those who don’t know, the Accounting department is responsible
for monthly financials, payroll, accounts payable and fixed asset tracking
for all of CCH. She’s worked with CCH for nearly two years.
Andrea is originally from Munich, Germany, and has successfully completed
a two year apprenticeship with an Associate’s Degree in Business
Management. She has been in the United States for almost 20 years—becoming
a citizen in 2013—most of that time in Campbell County, Wyoming.
“I have worked in diverse fields from financial institutions, to
companies in the metal industry in Germany, to being the editor of the
local newspaper in Wright, Wyoming; to driving school bus part time when
my kids were little. My all-time favorite job was as Public Affairs Assistant
for the United States Army while still in Germany working for the Combat
Maneuver Training Center in Hohenfels, Germany,” Andrea says.
CCH is Andrea’s first job in healthcare, but she does have a health
care hero: Dr. Donald Parker. “He was my doctor for almost 20 years
and through two pregnancies. During both those times he knew how to put
my mind at ease and he always took the time to listen to my concerns,” she says.
Outside of work, Andrea keeps busy with her recently purchased home. “When
I am not working around the house, I love to be outside with my dog and
just watch her roll on the grass and enjoy life. It looks like it feels
really good; I may have to try it myself someday,” she says. She
also takes some beautiful photos of local landscapes, which you can see
in her photo.
We asked Andrea what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence
every day means to her. Check out her response:
“Campbell County Health as a whole invests a lot into their employees’
growth, personally and professionally. The Accounting department in particular
is staffed with great people who support and teach each other, and are
willing to go out of their way to answer any questions I have. Being part
of a great organization is always something to be proud of. Being able
to help give back to the community by doing my small part for CCH makes
me especially proud.
Excellence Every Day means to me that we are all in this together and that
I will apply my skills and my knowledge to help everybody in the Accounting
Department to do their job efficiently, as well as represent CCH to the
community in the best way possible.”
Thank you, Andrea for being such a shining example of excellence every
day. We are proud to have you on our team!
