Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County, Wyoming community to know about the good work
that they do for this organization.
Say hello to Megan Wiard, BS, COHC, a Wellness Coordinator at CCH
Wellness in Gillette, Wyoming. Megan has worked in healthcare for nine years—four
of those have been with CCH. For those who don’t know, CCH Wellness offers a
daily screening program that makes it easy and affordable for all residents to have their blood
checked, or get other health screenings, on a regular basis—they
even offer
Corporate programs for businesses interested in investing in their employees’ health.
Megan has earned her bachelors in Exercise Science, and is a Certified
Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC). She’s working on earning
a Master’s of Business Administration, which will be completed in
October 2019. Megan chose a career in health care because she enjoys,
“helping people, and educating individuals on preventative health.”
According to Megan, she doesn’t have just one health care hero. “The
health coaches who I work with in the Wellness Department inspire me every
day to continue to live a healthy lifestyle, and to encourage others to
do the same thing. I love hearing inspirational success stories from health
coaching clients, and I enjoy being a part of their success,” she says.
When Megan isn’t at work, she enjoys coaching gymnastics. “I
spend most of my weekends at competitions in the winter,” she says.
“I also enjoy spending time hanging out with my family, and in the
summer we going camping, fishing, and hiking almost every weekend. I also
love living an active lifestyle, and enjoy playing with my dogs, traveling,
and trying new activities.”
We asked Megan what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence
every day means to her. Check out her response:
“Seeing all of the employees at CCH working together to reach the
common goal of providing excellent service to our community. We all work
well as a team, and do a great job acknowledging when someone has gone
above and beyond to support patients, and other employees through tough
times in their lives. What I like most about Wellness is being able to
provide low cost preventative screenings to our community. I also enjoy
being able to meet so many great individuals throughout our community
through our community blood draws, and corporate screenings.
Excellence every day means to come to work and provide the best customer
service I can to our community, and to also perform the best that I can
at my job every day.”
Thanks, Megan, for helping to keep our community healthy! We appreciate you.
