Campbell County Health's Vice President of
Human Resources Noamie Niemitalo (and a CCH
Legend) has been nominated for the Sherry McGrath Spirit of Gillette Award from the
Campbell County Chamber of Commerce.
According to the Chamber, members have the opportunity to select the winners
in five categories.
Voting is open until September 30 to Chamber member businesses and their employees. Winners
are announced at the Chamber's
Annual Awards Gala on Saturday, November 2, at
Cam-Plex Wyoming Hall in Gillette, Wyoming. Tickets are $75 per person or $750

Noamie's Chamber nomination form reads: Sherry McGrath Spirit of Gillette nominee Noamie Niemitalo was born in
Frankfurt, Germany while her father was stationed there during the Vietnam
War. After the war, they settled in a farming community in Western Nebraska
where Noamie grew up. She is a graduate of the University of Wyoming and
in 2003, she earned her Master of Science degree with specialization in
Social Work and Community Service. She currently works at Campbell County
Health as the Vice President of Human Resources.
Noamie has a servant spirit and has volunteered for many organizations
during her time in Gillette and has served on many committees and non-profit
boards including
Visitation and Advocacy Center for the Sixth Judicial District (CASA),
Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation,
Boys & Girls Club of Campbell County and the
Society for Human Resource Management.
Noamie and her husband, Loren, have a daughter, Carlie Anabell. Noamie
enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to her daughter’s
extracurricular events. In her free time, she enjoys gardening (the farmer
girl in her), golfing, boating, fishing, and camping. She has a huge garden
and each year is able to can enough salsa, marinara, pizza sauce, and
ketchup to last until the next season. When she has the opportunity, she
enjoys reading a good book. Once a year, her daughter joins her at Hart
Ranch for a girl’s week of seeing who can read the most books.
Noamie and her family try to travel to some place that they have never
been each year.
