Say hello to Stephanie Bath, RN, who is an Operating Room Nurse at
Powder River Surgery Center in Gillette, Wyoming. Stephanie received her training at
Northern Wyoming Community College and has been with
Campbell County Health for nearly three years.
Stephanie was attracted to a career in health care because she, “wanted
a career where I felt like what I did mattered.”
When asked who her health hero is, Stephanie easily says her mom, who was
also a nurse. “Growing up there were many times people would stop
us in a store and tell me what an amazing nurse she was and how much she
had helped them. She definitely inspired me to be a caring nurse,” she says.
Outside of work, Stephanie spends all her time with her family. “We
like to be outdoors and active. We spend time hiking, running, fishing,
and going on rides looking at animals,” she says.
We asked Stephanie what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence
every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I feel the most pride in my work when I hear back from a patient
who let me know something I did contributed to them having a good experience.
Surgery can be a scary thing so it’s nice to help someone feel at
ease in an uneasy situation.
What I like the most about working at PRSC are the people I work with.
Everyone works so well as a team. It’s nice to know I have people
I can rely on.
Excellence Every Day means that I show up and work to the best of my abilities.
I think it starts with the attitude I bring to work. I always show up
planning on having a good day. Things usually fall into place if you have
the attitude that you can handle what comes your way.”
Stephanie is one of many stars in our organization who make our health
