Meet Jenn Mortimore, a Nutrition Tech at
The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center in Gillette, Wyoming. Jenn has been with CCH for just over one year, but
worked at the Senior Center in Thermopolis and Gillette for five years total.
Nutrition at The Legacy includes registered dietitians, certified dietary managers,
as well as barista’s in our Bistro, chefs, cooks and servers. This
incredible team provides high-quality nutritional care to patients, residents
and their families, as well as visitors. Jenn prepares meals; cleans and
maintains kitchen equipment; receives, stores and distributes food and
non-food supplies; serves food; washes dishes; and helps with retail food sales.
She was inspired to work at The Legacy and in healthcare because she enjoys
helping others.
When she’s not working at The Legacy, Jenn stays quite active. “I
like to play softball, volleyball, corn hole, and hanging out with family.
I like being outside in the sunshine,” she says.
We asked Jenn what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence
every day means to her. Check out her response:
The best part of my job is that I get to provide and help the residents
with their needs. I like visiting and helping the residents. I love everyone
I work with and that includes the nursing,
CNAs, environmental services techs, front desk, activities and the supervisors
and directors! We have a great team.
Excellence every day means that I make sure everyone is takin care of and
making sure I can put a smile on someone's face!”
