CCMG OB GYN Specialists is again sponsoring medical clerkship students in their role as teaching faculty for the
University of Washington Medical School (UWSOM) in Seattle. A total of four clerkship students will each complete a six-week clinical rotation in Obstetrics and Gynecology this year, beginning in July with student Justin Willis. The third-year medical students will work closely with
Dr. Anderson,
Dr. Biggs and
Dr. Linden in an intense learning environment.
Justin Willis grew up first in a town of only 3,000 people and then in a suburb of Seattle in Washington state. He’s interested in practicing Family Medicine and possibly Obstetrics in a small town setting.
Justin has already had some experience seeing patients in a hospital setting for one day per week in medical school and during a four-week rotation in Family Medicine. Even though he’s only been here for a short time, he’s impressed by the fast pace and number of patients seen at OB GYN Specialists.
This is Justin’s first rotation, and he’ll have opportunities to experience other specialties in different locations as the year goes on. Be sure to welcome Justin to Gillette and CCH if you see him.
