Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they do for this organization.
Say hello to Shelly Kline, a Billing and Posting Specialist for Campbell County Medical Group Central Billing Office, or what we refer to as the CBO. Shelly has 14 years of experience in the medical billing field, and she's been with Campbell County Health for three years. There are 19 Clinics that use the CBO, and in the office staff sends invoices to patients, post payments, take phone calls and even make collection calls. They also played a large part in the ICD-10 implementation, which was a new system of medical diagnosis reporting for billing and other medical documentation that went into effect on October 1, 2015. We asked Shelly what inspired her to work in health care, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out her response:
"I was inspired to pursue a career in health care by my parents. I grew up in rural Colorado, and they started a volunteer ambulance service to negate the two-hour (or more) response time of the available Emergency Medical Services. My mother then became an EMT instructor to help keep the community involved.
I feel that if I can improve, even a little each day, how I connect with our patients and my fellow employees or how I approach a challenge then I can achieve excellence every day."
Thank you for all that you do at the CBO, Shelly. We appreciate you.
