This week (March 13-19) is Patient Safety Awareness Week, a week for all employees of Campbell County Health to recognize and recommit to ensuring safe care for patients and residents.
Everyone has a role to play in patient safety, including patients and their families. No matter where you receive healthcare, it's important to remember that it's your right to ask questions so you understand what to do, and know the names of your medications and why you take them so you can take an active role in your health and safety.
This week, we asked many employees at CCH to step into the role of the patient by wearing a patient gown. This is our way of showing our patients and residents that we are all patients, and we are striving for patient safety and the reduction of harm. Check out our photos and videos below.
