Kudos to the following employees at Campbell County Health:
Congratulations to Marla Brooks, the
Cardiopulmonary Servcies Excellence Every Day Employee of the Month for February. Born and raised in Gillette, Marla was active in gymnastics from the age of two until she graduated high school. She even coached gymnastics through college. Marla went to college in Casper and earned her associated degree in Respiratory Therapy. Marla passed her Respiratory Therapist test in June of 2014, and joined Campbell County Health in October 2014.
Marla became a Respiratory Therapist (RT) because, "You get the options to be in the ICU, ER, Nursery, and on the floor. In one day there is always something new and different, I enjoy always having something different and new to do and learn." Her favorite part of being an RT is everything that has to do with patient care.
Marla likes to spend time as much time as possible with her family. "We are always crafting something or planning and event such as birthday parties, baby showers, weddings, and family reunions," she says. She is currently concentrating on enjoying the precious time she has with her little one.
Lisa Miller has been named the manager of
Nutrition Services. She was serving in an interim role and now is the position permanently. Lisa has worked for CCH since 1997. Congratulations Lisa!
Bill Rice, Manager of the Campbell County Medical Group Walk-In Clinics and Occupational Health (Gillette and
Wright) and
Wellness Services, was just invited to participate as a member of the Institute of Mining Resources’ Health and Safety Technical Advisory Committee. The committee is made up of more than 30 industry health and safety leaders from across the globe and includes representation from across all mining sectors. The group takes on leading educational and research issues to drive improvement and positive change across the industry. The committee meets monthly via teleconference and onsite twice a year at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
