Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they
do for this organization.
Meet Renee Rhoades, an Insurance Specialist at
Behavioral Health Services at Campbell County Memorial Hospital. Renee has been at CCH for seven
years now, and she calls them the most rewarding years of her career.
“Health care and Behavioral Health have always inspired me. It is
so rewarding seeing lives change everyday. I have a nurturing soul and
being part of this industry fulfills my desire to help the community,”
says Renee.
Renee mentioned a couple of colleagues when we asked her who her health
care heroes are:
William F Heineke, Psy-D., Ed.D, and
Krista Christiansen, Clinic Supervisor. “William is so passionate about recovery for
adolescents and connects with every single patient in a very unique way.
He does an excellent job with directing the
Summer Program for adolescents. This community is so fortunate to have such an amazing
program like this and Bill and his staff work hard to make it so successful.
I love the positive impact it has on our community and families,”
she says. “Krista helps me achieve my goals everyday by offering
endless tips and suggestions. She has always stepped in and helped when
needed and has made so many positive changes for our whole department.
We are so fortunate to have her leading our team.”
When she’s not working, Renee says she loves to spend time with her
husband, family and grandchildren, as well as ride her bike, go on long
walks and spend some time in the gym.
We asked Renee what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence
every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I am so proud to be an employee of CCH for many reasons, but the
main reason is because we have an excellent team! Everyone is so passionate
about what they do here and they all work well together to make the patients’
experience pleasant and unforgettable. I feel the employees at CCH really
do care, and that is so important to me.
I will never forget what a former director of Behavioral Health once said
to us in a staff meeting. It’s very rare that you will hear a patient
say they are excited to come in for a procedure or a surgery, or excited
to come upstairs to Behavioral Health Services because they have to see
a counselor or a psychiatrist that day. Instead, they often feel fear,
are depressed, or have anxiety. He told us that as representatives of
CCH, it is our responsibility to provide the best service we can and do
everything possible to make them feel more comfortable from the moment
they walk through our doors. I think about this every morning when I am
here with hope that I can change a bad feeling to a good feeling, or a
sad thought to a happy thought, or maybe even change a life that day.
Providing that kind of service to our patients is what excellence every
day means to me.”
Thank you, Renee for putting our patients’ minds at ease the best
you can. We appreciate you.
