Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they
do for this organization.
Meet Kayla Hoffman, CNA, an Office Specialist in
Behavioral Health Services at Campbell County Memorial Hospital. As an office specialist, Kayla gets
clients ready before they see their doctor—collects vitals and scans
information into the computer for their chart. For those who don’t
know, Behavioral Health Services provides our community with compassionate,
confidential and comprehensive treatment of behavioral disorders, mental
illness and substance abuse treatment following detox. The team includes
psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, licensed therapists and compassionate
support staff. For patients who may be experiencing severe episodes of
mental illness, CCH offers an eight-bed adult and adolescent inpatient
unit to provide monitored care. Kayla has worked at CCH for five years,
and decided on a career in health care because she always enjoyed helping people.
“What I like most about working in Behavioral Health is being able
to help people in crisis. I work with a strong team, and we are all willing
to help each other out, and be there for all of our patients,” says Kayla.
Outside of work, Kayla says she enjoys spending as much time with her family
and friends as she can. We asked Kayla what excellence every day means
to her. Check out her response:
“Excellence every day means that I’m doing my job the best
that I can. I’m gathering the information that the doctors need
to give the proper care to our clients, and I’m always working with
our clients to help meet their needs.”
Thank you, Kayla, for your hard work and dedication in Behavioral Health
Services. We appreciate you.
