Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they
do for this organization.
Allow us to introduce Tanya Arbach, RN, BSN, who is a Clinical Analyst
in the Campbell County Health
Information Systems (IS) department. For those who don’t know, clinical analysts at
CCH help manage the computer networks for our medical facilities. Tanya
has her bachelors of science in nursing and has worked at CCH for the
last 15 years, and has been a nurse for almost 26 years. When Tanya was
9 years old, she had her appendix removed. This emergency inspired her
to work in health care because she “remembered how caring the nurses
were” who took care of her throughout her experience.
Many of Tanya’s coworkers will tell you that she is passionate about
her job, and is a huge asset to CCH. According to her colleague Georgia
Morris, Tanya works hard to make sure CCH’s charting systems are
up to date and changes are completed in a timely manner. “Since
she worked as a nurse prior to working in IS, she understands the importance
of making sure the care team has the resources they need from a technical
and charting standpoint. This helps staff better focus on patient care
as much as possible,” says Georgia.
When asked about her health care hero, Tanya said: “I have had many
heroes as I have grown in my career, and they include some CCH colleagues
Anne Raga, CCH Legend
Deb McMurtrey, and Cheryl Opfer.”
For fun, Tanya enjoys reading, watching her children play sports, and spending
time with her grandchildren. We asked Tanya what she likes most about
working for CCH, and what excellence every day means to her. Check out
her response:
“What I like most about working in Information Systems is when we
can harness technology to improve patient care, especially patient safety.
I have always felt that employees at CCH do a great job caring for patients—seeing
the recent reports and awards backs that up; it was very proud moment
for me. Even though I am not in direct patient care, I feel that what
I do makes caring for the patients easier.
Excellence every day means that I’m doing my part to improve patient
care in ways that might not be visible. And treating everyone as I want
to be treated.”
Tanya, thank you for helping CCH’s medical and support staff to better
take care of our patients. We appreciate you!
