Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they
do for this organization.
Meet Tavia Blake, a Certified Clinical
Medical Assistant at the Campbell County Medical Group
Urology Clinic. Tavia has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology emphasizing in Biology
from Western State College and has worked with CCH since June 2015. She
has worked in health care for 18 years, spending time working as a CNA
for a nursing home, in home health, as a Grossing technician in a
Pathology lab and working with individuals of all ages with disabilities.
She’s inspired to work in health care because she has always wanted
to help others. She also believes that it takes everyone to work as a
team in health care to provide the best possible outcomes for patients.
“It’s takes a team to care for patients—from the registration
specialists, to nurses, medical assistants, technicians, schedulers, and
doctors. Everyone holds a very important spot in the chain,” she says.
Outside of work, Tavia says she enjoys spending time with her family camping
and fishing. She also loves working in her garden, and cooking.
We asked Tavia what she likes most about working for CCH, and what excellence
every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I fell the best when I know that we have addressed a patient’s
questions about their health fully. I want to make sure that the patient
fully understands their diagnosis and are completely educated on what
their medical needs are. The Urology Clinic is professional, busy, and
I love that I am able to help people—and I’m learning at the
same time.
Excellence every day is simple. It means that you are giving your best
every day.”
Tavia, thank you for giving your best to the patients at CCH every day.
Thank you for joining our team.
