New
Powder River Surgery Center (PRSC) Interim Director Colleen Heeter is enjoying the idea of staying
in one place for several months. In her healthcare career she’s
used to traveling to multiple cities and states to lead ambulatory surgery
centers and surgical hospitals.
She was interested in the position at PRSC because of the high quality
care provided by the staff, and the opportunity to help improve processes
and find more ways to collaborate both internally and with the
Surgical Services department at Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
Colleen’s nursing background is in surgery and ambulatory surgery,
but her experience with all aspects of a surgical center, including the
business office with her Master of Business Administration (MBA), made
her a great candidate for the position, according to Bill Stangl, Vice
President of Physician Services.
Colleen has only been on board at PRSC for a few weeks, but she’s
very impressed with the high level of patient interaction, and the strong
family atmosphere she’s seen among the staff.
Welcome Colleen!
