Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County, Wyoming community to know about the good work
that they do for this organization.
Meet Sean Crawford, a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) in the CCH
Biomed Department in Gillette, Wyoming. Sean has earned associate degrees in Biomedical
Equipment Technology, Electrical Engineering, and Biology. He’s
been with CCH for one year, but has served a total of nine years in healthcare
with other hospitals and with the
Wyoming Air National Guard.
For those who don’t know, Biomedical Equipment Technicians are healthcare
professionals responsible for servicing, maintaining, and managing healthcare
technologies throughout the organization. Skilled technicians help acquire,
install, maintain, and train healthcare personnel on cutting-edge
medical technology. They also support medical staff in the use of the
technology.
According to Sean, his healthcare heroes are, “nurse managers who
juggle so many responsibilities and duties—I hope that I offer some
solutions for them.”
When Sean isn’t working, he likes travelling, house remodeling, outdoor
recreation, technology and computers, as well as spending time with his family.
We asked Sean what he likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence
every day means to him. Check out his response:
“What I like most about CCH is the professionalism and respect of
my peers, and the excellence of our facilities. We are respected and I
feel that we are given leeway to get the job done. I’d also like
to give thanks to the staff at the
Cafeteria and
Coffee Shoppe at CCMH for their great service and food!
Excellence every day is always being ready, reliable and responsive to
CCH’s needs.”
Sean, thank you for all that you do to keep our patients safe and healthy.
We appreciate you.
