The Campbell County Memorial Hospital
Radiology Department is an expert when it comes to
CAT (or CT) scans—but, did you also know that they love cats, too.
Two years ago, Radiology Technician
Bonnie Green adopted the last dog at the
City of Gillette/Campbell County Animal Shelter. A supporter of animal causes, Bonnie said she likes to help out the Shelter
as often as she can. This year, she asked the Radiology Department if
they’d help her make sure every animal at the Shelter had a home
for Christmas. They overwhelmingly said yes!
In the Facebook
Gillette Area Classifieds Group page on December 12, Bonnie posted this: “If money this time
of year is tight (as it always is) and that’s keeping you from adopting
your new best friend, we wanted to do a little something to help you out.”
Bonnie mentioned today (December 14) that the Animal Shelter had updated
her and there were a few adoptions yesterday because of their generous
act. “We didn’t do this for recognition; we did it because
we wanted all those animals to have a loving home,” Bonnie says.
So, if you’re looking for a four legged companion to join your household—or
find their fur-ever home—Campbell County Health encourages you to
check out the cats that are available at the Animal Shelter at 950 W.
