With the recent news of suicide in our community, staff at the Campbell
County Medical Group
Kid Clinic staff felt that it was important to review the signs of suicidality, and
where help can be found.
Warning signs of suicide include:
- Talking about wanting to die or to kill oneself
- Looking for a way to kill oneself
- Talking about feeling hopeless or having no reason to live
- Talking about feeling trapped or in unbearable pain
- Talking about being a burden to others
- Increasing the use of alcohol or drugs
- Acting anxious or agitated; behaving recklessly
- Sleeping too little or too much
- Withdrawing or feeling isolated
- Showing rage or talking about seeking revenge
- Displaying extreme mood swings
- Giving away prized possessions

clinicians ready to provide therapeutic services for children ages 4 to
21 years old.

The Kid Clinic also encourages that all firearms and medications are locked
up to prevent harmful use by teens.

Lexie Honey, LCSW, works at the Campbell County Medical Group Kid Clinic, a school-based
pediatric clinic offering medical care for Campbell County, Wyoming. The
clinic serves children ages 2 weeks to 18 years old; and counseling services
for children 4 years old to 21 years old. It is located at 800 Butler
Spaeth Rd., across from St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Gillette,
Wyoming. The Kid Clinic is open Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. For more
