Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County, Wyoming community to know about the good work
that they do for this organization.
Say hello to Andrea (Andi) Robertson, a Mental Health Case Manager with
Behavioral Health Services inpatient unit at
Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming. Andi has been with CCH for four years, but has been
in health care for the last 10 years. She earned her undergraduate in
psychology at
Fort Hays State University in Kansas and will finish her Masters in Social Work at the
University of Southern California in August. When asked why she chose to pursue a career in health care,
Andi says: “I love the mental health field, there is so much to
learn and see and so many opportunities to grow. Also, the brain is a
fascinating organ and the complexities and mysteries of it make this field
exciting. I also like helping and educating others.”
Andi also had this to say about naming a health care hero: “I have
worked with and studied under several inspiring and motivating individuals
and to identify them all would take too much space and time. I will just
say, if you truly listen to the ideas of others, you will find yourself
inspired in the most peculiar ways.”
When she’s not at work, Andi loves to spend time with her husband
and three children. “They keep us pretty busy between soccer games,
band concerts, debate meets and competition dancing. Outside of kid stuff
though, I love crafting, reading, learning, traveling, creating and, of
course, watching Netflix,” she says.
We asked Andi what she likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence
every day means to her. Check out her response:
“I am proud to be part of this organization and can’t wait
to see what this year brings. I love that the treatment team I work with
are equally invested in delivering exceptional patient care—I get
to work with a cohesive team and that is pretty awesome. We’re always
creating and implementing new ideas and processes to ensure the patients
on the inpatient psychiatric unit have wonderful care while on the unit,
and great outcomes after they leave.
To me, excellence every day means showing up to work the best version of
myself every day to provide excellent care to those who need it the most—our
patients.”
Thank you, Andi, for always taking that extra step to deliver exceptional
patient care. We appreciate you.
