Campbell County Health is proud of its employees, and we want the CCH family
and the Campbell County community to know about the good work that they
do for this organization.
Meet Randy Hunt, who is a Grounds Tech in the
Plant Operations Department for Campbell County Health in Gillette, Wyoming. He’s been CCH for
the last 10 years. For those who don't know, Plant Operations supports
patient care by providing a well-maintained, safe and comfortable environment
for patients, visitors and staff. Randy is part of a team that performs
routine building and ground maintenance and construction planning to meet
the changing needs of our community.
“Randy is a very dedicated employee who is willing to do whatever
needs to get the job done right,” says Randy Vanek, CCH Grounds
Supervisor. “From coming in at midnight and staying all day plowing
snow, to fixing the irrigation systems at
The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center or
Campbell County Memorial Hospital, Randy is the guy you call.”
Randy Hunt says he came to CCH because he wanted a good, secure job and,
“I like working outside in the grounds department,” he said.
He is thankful for help from Dan Kalpin and Ed Elliott. “I learned
a lot about landscaping and various aspects of the job from these two,” he says.
When Randy isn’t working, he enjoys spending as much time as possible
with his grandkids. “I also enjoy riding my motorcycle as well as
going hunting and fishing,” he says.
We asked Randy what he likes most about working at CCH, and what excellence
every day means to him. Check out his response:
“I like my co-workers and the teamwork that we have in our department.
The best part about working in landscaping is when the job is complete,
and seeing how nice the grounds look when it is done. I take a lot of
pride in that.
Excellence every day is simple: Doing the best that you can do each and
every day.”
Randy, thanks for always going the extra mile to keep our employees and
patients safe while on our grounds. We appreciate you.
