Receiving a diagnosis of
cancer is a shock not only emotionally, but often financially as well. There
are copays, deductibles and other expenses that pile up on top of an already
large burden.
Through the
Chair Affair and other funds,
Campbell County Healthcare Foundation's (CCHCF)
Cancer Care Committee helps pay up to $2,500 for cancer patients in treatment in Campbell County, Wyoming.
The Chair Affair – Furnishing Hope
Help support local cancer patients at the upcoming Chair Affair, where
you can bid on one-of-a-kind furniture pieces built by community members
who have up-cycled, reupholstered or designed a piece of furniture. The
event includes a dinner as well as a live auction and silent auction.
Since its inception in 2013, the Cancer Care Committee has given more than
$340,000 in financial assistance to local cancer patients and their families
to help them with various emergencies and needs to get them through a
very difficult time.
The Chair Affair takes place on Friday, March 27 at 6 pm at the CAM-PLEX
Wyoming Center, 1635 Reata Drive in Gillette, Wyoming.
Tickets are $50 per person;
purchase tickets online here. All donations and proceeds stay in our community.
