If the doctors you see at
Campbell County Memorial Hospital or the Campbell County Medical Group Main Clinic seem to be getting younger
all the time, maybe they are.
Campbell County Health is pleased to welcome medical students in Internal
Medicine from the
WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho) program for their six-week
clerkship rotations this spring and summer.
Each state participating in WWAMI partners with the
University of Washington School of Medicine (UWSOM) to educate a fixed number of medical students from and for their state.
Our first student is Heather Stevens. Heather grew up in Seattle, and her
rotation in Gillette marks her first trip to Wyoming. She is a third year
medical student with an interest in primary care. During their clerkship
program students get to experience many different medical specialties,
with the goal of ultimately picking their favorite.
Heather is excited to explore the wide-open plains of Wyoming when she’s
not learning from local WWAMI faculty like
Dr. Nick Stamato, Campbell County Medical Group
Cardiology.
Please join us as we welcome Heather to Gillette and CCH!
