Lab professionals are our behind-the-scene heroes! But, this week, April 22-28,
is Medical Laboratory Professional Week, and they get to bask in the spotlight!
Certified laboratory professionals have specialized training and education
to perform and evaluate medical tests that correctly detect, diagnose,
and help prevent diseases—saving countless lives every day. At Campbell
County Memorial Hospital, the laboratory is staffed 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. The CCMH Laboratory currently performs hundreds of tests,
especially for local physician and veterinary offices, with the capability
of referencing hundreds more.
Help CCH celebrate our lab professionals this through April 27 by bringing
a donation for
Blessings in a Backpack to the Laboratory at Campbell County Memorial Hospital, 501 S. Burma Avenue.
Donations must be nonperishable, come individually packaged, and healthy:
such as granola bars, goldfish crackers, animal crackers, peanut butter
crackers, cheese crackers, applesauce pouches, any boxed brand of fruit
snacks, etc.
Give our lab pros a round of applause for all that they do, and for giving
back to our community! Learn more about our Laboratory at
